Who is responsible for your data
This website is published by the association Les Grandes Tables de Suisse, Route du Village 26A, 1134 Vufflens-le-Château, Switzerland. For any question regarding your data, please write to us via our contact form.
Our principle
We collect the bare minimum. This site does no advertising profiling, sells no data and uses no behavioural tracking tools.
What we collect, and why
Contact form
Name, e-mail address, subject and message. Used solely to reply to you. Legal basis: your request. Kept for the time needed to handle it, then archived for a maximum of two years.
Membership application
Name, establishment, address, town, e-mail address and message. Passed to the association’s committee to consider your application. Legal basis: your request. Kept for the duration of the review, then three years if declined.
Newsletter
Your e-mail address, if you subscribe voluntarily. Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every mailing.
Browsing the site
Our audience measurement tool (Statify) counts pages viewed without setting a cookie or recording an IP address. No individual statistics are produced.
Who your data is shared with
- Hosting provider: our host, in Switzerland. Data remains on its servers.
- Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA): for the newsletter only, and only if you subscribed. This transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
No other transfer takes place. Your data is never sold, rented or exchanged.
External services on the site
- Members map: base maps come from an external mapping service, which technically receives your IP address to deliver the images.
- YouTube videos: embedded in “no-cookie” mode. No data is sent to YouTube unless you start playback.
- GaultMillau articles: only the images are loaded from their site.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, for people residing in the European Union, under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability.
To exercise these rights, write to us via the contact form. We reply within thirty days. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS: everything you submit travels encrypted.
Changes
This policy may be adapted if our practices change. The update date appears at the top of the page.
